I only had minor injuries, but Chads left leg was broken and his knee was shattered. Unfortunately his leg could not be repaired as there was too much damage to the muscles and blood vessels in his leg. On August 21st the doctors had to amputate his left leg from just above the knee down. He is recovering very well and is feeling much better since his leg was amputated. Our hopes are to have Chad home in the next week or so.
